‘Brides-to-be’ in the capital had one destination in their sights - ’Bridal Couture Exposition 2012′ where designer Tarun Tahiliani showcased his most recent works in bridalwear. Since starting the Couture Exposition in 2010, Tarun Tahiliani knows very well, how to make a bride look gorgeous on her wedding day. IFP gets you a sneak peek at the event which kicked off in New Delhi on 25th July 2012 and will be coming to aamchi Mumbai on 6th August, 2012.
The theme of the exposition was ‘The Jewel Box’ which had the setting of a glass jewellery box designed by AIS Glasxperts. The jewels in the box were Tarun Tahiliani’s bridal designs indeed……..a dream come true for every bride-to-be.
Vu Technologies have also collaborated with Tarun Tahiliani to create India’s very first Couture TV. Unveiled at the Bridal Exposition, ‘Vu-Tarun Tahiliani Couture TV’ the 3D TV with in-built PC is available in 55” dimension which has been designed with unusual ornamental patterns constructed through the use of calligraphy and geometry. The fine use of latticework in muted Swarovski elements lends a very subtle and stylish feel to the product. The ‘Vu-Tarun Tahiliani Couture TV’ is a luxurious lifestyle statement which is an object of desire that isn’t just functional but also a magnificent piece of art.
